Responding to the Kelowna Fire Emergencies

What an intense 24 hours it's been in the Central Okanagan as the McDougall Creek fire intensified, and then spread to the east side of the lake north of Downtown, and now a third fire in Lake Country.

Many families have been impacted either through being on evacuation alert, or being ordered to leave their home not knowing if it will be there when they return. The impact will be far reaching, and won't be fully known for a long time to come.

If you've been impacted by the fires and need support the best place to get it is through the Central Okanagan Emergency Operations Center,

Financially, if you need access to your Cash Reserve, or will need to pause your monthly contributions, or make any other change until things get back to normal, please use this Client Service Request form.

I have reached out to our financial partners. Sometimes they provide additional support and resources during times of crisis. It's still too early to know and as information becomes available, I will keep you posted.

As always, I'm here to help
