"When my family experienced a windfall, I was surprised there was nowhere to turn for real guidance, just people telling me to invest, or buy an insurance product. They just added to The Noise."

Why I Left The Industry

I spent 15 years inside a system designed to sell products. I realized that The Noise wasn't just coming from the market, it was coming from the advisors. Every institution that moves quickly on your capital has a fee structure that depends on it.

So a few years after my sudden wealth event, I left. I went back to school. Studied business strategy. While I was there I developed the framework that became ProsperWise, a Virtual Family Office where we don't just invest, we integrate your wealth into a governed financial system.

Most financial advice is engineered to extract wealth, not govern it. I've since watched other good founders and families get life-changing money, only to be overwhelmed by The Noise, in a language they don't understand. I built ProsperWise to silence that noise, an independent Family CFO coordinating your team so you can actually enjoy what you built.

What Is a Family CFO?

Most of my clients have just experienced a wealth event. A business exit, an inheritance, a windfall, a transition. What they don't need is another product. They need someone on their side of the table.

As a Family CFO, my job is to govern first, then deploy. Once your Sovereignty Charter is ratified and you are ready, I implement the required investment strategies, insurance structures, and governance frameworks inside your Virtual Family Office, so every decision traces back to the rules you wrote.

The Old Way

Advisor

Your advisor earns more when you invest more. You can't always tell if the advice is for you or for their production numbers.

The ProsperWise Way

Family CFO

I'm paid a flat fee to design your system, not to move your capital. If paying off debt is the right move, I'll tell you, the design fee doesn't change either way. Any commissions or asset-based fees tied to specific products come later, during implementation, and are disclosed separately, in advance.

"It's definitely a reflection of who you are, what you strive to do, and your genuine kindness and care for the people you do this work for... We truly appreciate all you do for us. Your message is a great reminder that wealth... becomes so much more than numbers on a page."

Bryan & Irene, Clients

Your Personal Board of Directors

Governance requires a team. I sit on your side of the table, coordinating a vetted network of external experts to ensure your Sovereignty Charter is airtight.

The Tax Specialist Ensures your business exit or inheritance doesn't trigger an avoidable tax event.

The Estate Lawyer Protects your assets across generations and keeps your estate out of probate.

The Risk Manager Audits your insurance so you're covered for what matters and not paying for what doesn't.

Already have a tax specialist, estate lawyer, or risk advisor you trust? I coordinate directly with your existing team, so nothing you've already built gets replaced. Don't have one yet, or not confident in who you have? I bring in vetted specialists from my own network, so you're never left to find the right person on your own, under pressure, right after a wealth event.

This is the Sovereignty Operating System™ in practice, a Charter-governed Virtual Family Office rather than a collection of disconnected advisors.

The Fiduciary Standard

For the Sovereignty Survey and the design of your Sovereignty Operating System™, I'm paid a flat fee. I do not accept commissions for that work. If the best advice for you is to pay off debt rather than invest, I'll tell you, the design fee doesn't change either way.

You will never have to wonder if that advice is for your benefit or mine.

Where implementation later involves specific products, insurance or certain investment structures, for example, any commissions or asset-based fees are disclosed to you separately and in advance, exactly as regulation requires. I'm paid to design and oversee your system first; what happens after that is never hidden inside the advice itself.

The planning and the implementation are also never bundled into one locked-in relationship. Once your Charter is written, it's yours, whether you have me implement it, bring it to advisors you already trust, or find someone else entirely. Sudden wealth syndrome is not the moment to be signing long-term commitments, so I don't ask you to.
