Last Updated: August 9, 2026
Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At ProsperWise Advisors, a registered trade name operating under Issler Group Management & Consulting Inc. (“ProsperWise,” “we,” “us”), your trust is our most important asset. We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal and financial information.
This Website Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard the personal information of visitors to our website, www.prosperwise.ca. This policy is designed to be transparent and compliant with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
1. Accountability
We are responsible for all personal information under our control. We have designated a Privacy Officer who is accountable for our compliance with this policy and applicable laws.
Privacy Officer: Rolf Issler, Founder, ProsperWise Advisors. Regulated by the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
2. Identifying Purposes: Why We Collect Your Information
We collect personal information through our website for the following specific purposes:
- To Respond to Inquiries: When you contact us by email, phone, or through Ask Georgia, our private AI intake tool, we collect your contact details and the information you choose to share so we can respond and identify the right next step for you.
- To Schedule Sessions: When you book a Clarity Call or a Sovereignty Survey, our scheduling tools collect the information needed to confirm your appointment, such as your name, email address, and the details you provide about your situation.
- To Deliver Educational Content: If you subscribe to The Sovereignty Letters, our newsletter, that subscription is handled directly by Substack on its own platform, governed by Substack’s privacy policy, not by us.
- To Improve Our Website: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. This information is aggregated and is not used to advertise to you elsewhere. We do not use advertising pixels or sell data to advertising networks.
3. Consent
By using our website and voluntarily providing us with your personal information, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Implied Consent: By starting a conversation with Ask Georgia or booking a session, you imply consent for us to process what you share for the purpose of that conversation or appointment.
- Express Consent: When you subscribe to The Sovereignty Letters or book a session, you will be asked for your express consent by the relevant platform (Substack or our scheduling tool). You may withdraw your consent at any time, including via the “unsubscribe” link in our newsletter emails.
4. Limiting Collection
We only collect the personal information necessary for the purposes identified above.
- Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number, when you provide it to reach us or book a session.
- Conversation Data: What you choose to share with Ask Georgia during a private intake conversation, including details about your financial situation, so far as needed to route you to the right next step.
- Automated Information (Cookies): We use Google Analytics, which places cookies to collect non-identifiable information about your visit, such as your approximate location, device type, and the pages you view. We do not use this information for advertising or to build an advertising profile of you. Other third-party tools embedded on specific pages (our appointment scheduler and Substack newsletter widget) may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies when you interact with them directly.
You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention
- No Sale of Data: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information to third parties.
- Ask Georgia: Conversations with Ask Georgia are processed on Canadian servers pinned to Montreal and are never used to train external AI models. Nothing from your conversation is retained beyond the session unless you actively choose to take a next step, such as booking a Clarity Call or the Sovereignty Survey.
- Service Providers: We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate this website and our booking tools, including Firebase (Google) for website hosting and content management, Google Analytics for website traffic analysis, Google Calendar for Clarity Call scheduling, and Substack for our newsletter. Each operates under its own privacy policy and provides a comparable level of protection for your information.
- Retention: We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes identified above, or as required by the Insurance Council of British Columbia’s record-keeping standards.
6. Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to ensure your information is accurate. If you believe any information we hold about you is incorrect, please contact us to update it.
7. Safeguards
We protect your personal information with appropriate security safeguards.
- Digital Security: Our website is hosted on Firebase, Google’s cloud hosting platform, and served over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
- Internal Protocols: Access to client and prospective client information is restricted to authorized personnel of Issler Group Management & Consulting Inc.
8. Openness
We are committed to transparency. This policy is publicly available on our website at www.prosperwise.ca/privacy-policy.
9. Individual Access
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you. Upon written request to our Privacy Officer, we will inform you of the existence, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
10. Challenging Compliance
You have the right to challenge our compliance with these principles. All inquiries should be directed to our Privacy Officer. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC).
